The best way to describe our feelings about Nicola's work is to say we loved it. Our Butlers Wharf apartment needed seriously updating, to give us the streamlined easy style we wanted. The brief for the whole apartment included two bathrooms, kitchen, main living area, and transforming two existing bedrooms to give us a study and 'den'.

We wanted luxurious fabrics, and a 'New York' feel, without fussiness. What we got was exactly that. The kitchen was opened up into the living area, so we had views out to the river. The whole room felt spacious and calm, wonderful for entertaining, and the colours worked beautifully, somehow opening the room to the outside. The choice of fabrics and finishes were lovely, and much admired and commented on! We first saw Nicola's work in Britannia Studios in Chelsea and I liked her use of texture and colour. She brought this attention to detail to her work for us on sofas, cushions and curtains with rich fabrics and trimmings, guiding us throughout with good humour and clear, detailed layout boards. We couldn't fault the standard of work, the curtains and furniture coverings were beautifully made. We are more than happy to give Nicola our ringing endorsement. And she is fun too!
